To welcome the Lunar New Year festival (Tet), the Vietnamese Student Association in France will hold a number of cultural events, including a special programme themed “Hello Spring 2010-Young Talent” to be held at the Gymnase Marie Bell Theatre in Paris on February 21.

The programme, expected to draw about 1,000 overseas students, will feature young people showing off their talent for magic, dancing, music and comedy.

This 5th “Hello Spring-Young Talent” programme aims to strengthen student solidarity and provide a happy and exuberant atmosphere in which to welcome the Tet holiday.

14 student branches outside Paris will be connected through a television bridge. An awards ceremony for excellent students and an exchange programme to help overseas students learn about Vietnam and Thang Long-Hanoi will also be held.

On February 6, Vietnamese students in France will coordinate with other Vietnamese residents in France to welcome the Lunar New Year at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris.
