The delegation, led by the commission's deputy director Nghiem Dinh Vi, was received by Samane Viyakhet, Politburo Member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, who is in charge of political ideology, theoretical and cultural work, in Vientiane on November 8.

At the reception, Viyakhet welcomed the Vietnamese guests, saying their visit will help strengthen the special friendship and solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, the two states and the two countries’ people.

The same day, the delegation worked with the Lao National Academy of Politics and Administration. The two sides shared experiences in personnel training and discussed measures to boost their cooperation.
