A programme to raise high school students' awareness of HIV/AIDS called "Dance4Life Vietnam" was launched at the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School in Hanoi on October 29 by the World Population Foundation (WPF), the US Embassy and the Vietnam Administration for HIV/AIDS Control.

Under the programme, five workshops on HIV/AIDS will be held with the participation of 500 students who will hear real stories about people living with HIV/AIDS and their efforts to fight the lethal disease. An art and dance performance will be held on November 25 to mark World AIDS Day (December 1).

"Dance4Life Vietnam" is part of “Dance4Life International” established in 2004 in the five continents. Vietnam is the second country in Asia to take part in the project after Indonesia.
