The King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, has donated 200 tonnes of goods to assist the victims of the recent natural disasters in central Vietnam.

The first plane carrying part of his aid arrived in Hanoi on December 2. The rest of cargo will be brought to Vietnam on December 3.

The Vietnam Red Cross will officially receive all the relief aid of the King on December 4 in the presence of representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Arabian embassy, and some ministries of Saudi Arabia.
