The awards were in recognition of the contributions made by these organisations and individuals to training scientists for Vietnam.

The Ambassador praised the universities’ encouragement and said that a large number of students educated by these universities have now become high ranking officials in Vietnam’s ministries and universities.

The universities that received Certificates include the Irkutsk State University, the Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Volgograd State Technical University and the Tula State University. Four of the individuals who received Insignia are from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and three are from the Varonhet University of Construction and Architecture.
