Romania’s 99th Great Union Day marked in Hanoi

The association’s President Tong Van Nga congratulated Romanian people on their tremendous achievements over the past years and thanked them for their support given to Vietnam’s past struggles for national liberation and current nation construction process.

Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni expressed delight at the growing traditional friendship between the two nations and hailed the role played by the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Association in deepening mutual understanding between the two peoples and bolstering cooperation between businesses.

Vietnam and Romania set up diplomatic relations in February 1950.
