RoK-Vietnam friendship village construction started
(VOV) -The Vinh Long provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Vung Liem District People’s Committee held a signing and ground-breaking ceremony on January 30 to built the Republic of Korea (RoK)-Vietnam Friendship Village.
Present at the ceremony were Sin JuWha, Korean Consul to HCM City, and representatives from the Union of Friendship Organizations, ACEF Korean Cultural Centre and sponsors.
Once completed, the project at a total investment of US$109,500, will accomodate 73 households.
It aims to improve the living conditions of poor people and help the Mekong Delta province implement social welfare policies.
The project is scheduled to take shape in 3 months.
