‘Real Life Journey’ program supports disadvantaged students
VOV.VN - The National Fund for Vietnamese Children, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Binh Thuan Province jointly held a ‘Real Life Journey” program on October 19 to raise funds for disadvantaged students and pupils across the country.

The program started with a parade of 300 participants through the main streets of Phan Thiet City to disseminate information about minimizing traffic accidents and raise public awareness on environmental protection.
At the event, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children in collaboration with AIA Vietnam presented 70 bikes and five insurance contracts worth more than VND220 million to pupils with difficulties in Binh Thuan province.
In recent years, the Fund and AIA Vietnam have supported Binh Thuan province in conducting various benefit programs for children such as offering scholarships for poor pupils with good study results, and lifebuoys for children in remote and disadvantaged areas.
The ‘Real Life Journey’ program aims to give a helping hand to less fortunate children, enabling them to continue their schooling and improve their prospects for the future. According to the organisers, it has also contributed to raising public awareness of protecting the rights of the child.
Three years after launching the program in 2014, more than 4,000 bikes have been donated to poor pupils in 50 provinces and cities nationwide.
