Raging floodwaters rip through Quy Nhon City

VOV.VN - Rain and thunderstorms have moved through Quy Nhon City in Binh Dinh Province with downpours leading to devastating flooding.

A home partially submerged in flood waters in the City. Roads have literally been turned to rivers, say local authorities.

The flooding has caused extensive damage to property and infrastructure such as these manufacturing facilities in Nhon Phu Ward, say the authorities.

The deluge has left this residence near Dinh Market in the Nhon Binh Ward completely engulfed in water. 

Flooding has not been limited to the City with many parts of Binh Dinh Province reporting floodwaters measuring one metre in depth.

Floods force Quang Trung University in Quy Nhon City to shut down.
