Huynh Can Dom, Director of the Can Tho City Radio and Television Broadcasting Station, said that the operation of the centre before the 35^th anniversary of the Southern Liberation (April 30) has a special meaning as the city’s station was the first place to be taken over by the Southern Liberation Army.

The centre’s 9-storey building, which is 50.3m high and covers an area of 5,000 square metres, was built at a total investment capital of VND64 billion with the aim of improving the quality of programming to better serve people in the city and through the Mekong Delta.
