VOV.VN - A 3-storey home collapsed in the city of Quy Nhon this morning (Apr. 20), killing one man following an explosion at about 8:45am that police believe was caused by a gas leak.

It is not known how many people lived in the house but only Le Van Phung, 84, was in the house when it exploded. |

His body was recovered from the rubble by emergency services shortly after the incident. |

Fire fighters said they were working to secure the area and ascertain the causes of the explosion. |

A neighbour expressed her sadness at the man’s death but praised the quick work of emergency services. |

The house doesn’t exist anymore, and there is visible damage to other surrounding houses in the area, said the neighbour. |
