The VND10-billion project, funded by the US Department of Agriculture, aims to improve health and nutrition diet for pupils from 22 schools in Tam Duong and Than Uyen districts during the 2006-2008 period. It will also provide local children with free medical check-ups and proper nutritional supplements.

Under the project, schools will teach ethnic pupils about personal hygiene and nutrition so that they can improve their health for effective study.
