The first phase of the project was reviewed by the Vietnam Committee for Population, Family and Children and the German bank on October 17.

During the 2004-06 phase, the project was conducted in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, northern Quang Ninh and Ha Tay provinces, central Quang Binh province and southern Long An province, said Ngo Khang Cuong, director of the Committee's Communication Department.

In the 2006-08 period, the project will continue giving advice, providing family planning methods to young people and improving the capacity of project officers and peer educators with funds from the German Reconstruction Bank.
