The event aims to underline the bonds made between Russian teachers and their Vietnamese students and the support that Russia the former Soviet Union have provided to Vietnam’s educational sector over the past 50 years.

Among them are some famous and successful people who studied in Russia such as Ex-Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, artist Duc Hai, Thanh Bach, poet Tran Dang Khoa, professor Nguyen Van Hieu, director Dang Nhat Minh and more than 10 teachers from Russia and the Ukraine.

During the event, there will be stories of the affection shown between Russian lecturers and their Vietnamese students and performances by famous artists from both countries.

The exchange will be broadcast live on Vietnam television.
