Press contributions to creating public trust praised

The cabinet leader made the remark at a January 23 meeting in Hanoi with leaders of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA), numerous media agencies.

He also hailed journalists for having helped create public trust and rally forces to build a constructive and service-oriented government. 

Recalling his wish that Vietnam will become an economic tiger in Asia in the future,  PM Phuc said all-out efforts should be made to build Vietnam into a more prosperous country.

The PM said the media has made a significant imprint on the dissemination of Party guidelines, state policies, and government's managerial work.

PM Phuc expressed his hope that press agencies will make greater contributions to spurring national development, and successfully realizing socio-economic tasks for 2018 as well as the Resolution adopted at the 12th National Party Congress.
