PM works with Union of Literature and Arts Associations
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on August 4 had a working session with the Presidium of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations to deal with the Union’s recommendations in Hanoi.

President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam were among the attendees.
In his speech, the government leader praised the literary artists' contributions to the cause of national development while asking ministries and sectors to try to solve problems to help them have many great works.
At the meeting, union members proposed to the Government and the Prime Minister a number of solutions for removing difficulties and creating favorable conditions for literature and art activities.
Poet Huu Thinh, Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations made recommendations on the draft law on association, a decree on State and Ho Chi Minh awards selection, and finance for the Union’s operation. Thinh also proposed that the Union contribute opinions to the compilation of textbooks on literature.
