PM Phuc works with National Institute of Maritime Medicine

VOV.VN -  Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has praised Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine (VINIMAM)' s care for fishermen’s health to secure their offshore fishing.

In a speech during his visit to the academy in Hai Phong on November 25, the Vietnamese government leader reviewed the implementation of a government proposal to develop maritime medicines by 2020.

He asked the institute to work harder towards becoming a regional research institute majoring in maritime medicines.
It currently provides health check-ups and treatment to 100,000 people at sea each year.

PM Phuc expressed his hope that the VINIMAM staff would further improve their professional and governance skills to deserve reputation as the country’s leading maritime medicine centre.

The PM also attended a ground breaking ceremony for a-five star hotel and apartment complex project worth US$200 million in Lach Tray river urban area.
