PM orders civilised, safe, economical practices in festive activities
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has recently signed a dispatch, asking for the implementation of civilised lifestyle and safe and economical practices in post-Tet and spring festivals in 2025.
Accordingly, the PM directed relevant ministries and sectors to strictly enforce directives and regulations on security, safety, maintain a joyful yet orderly atmosphere in festive activities, and ensure compliance with laws on festival management and organisation.
He underlined the importance to pay heed to communication activities to raise public awareness in strictly comply with legal regulations on organising and joining festivals; and strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly prevent and seriously handle relevant violations for profiteering.
The Minister of Public Security was asked to enhance directives on monitoring security, public order, fire prevention, and social issues at religious establishments and festival venues.
Meanwhile, chairmen of provinces and centrally-run cities were demanded to promote State management of religious and festival activities.
The PM urged the public, especially officials and Party members, to monitor and report any violations of Party and State regulations to local authorities and media for timely and effective handling.
