The building will be located at 2E Van Phuc compound which is currently under the management of the Service Department of Diplomatic Corps of the Foreign Ministry, according to the Government Office.

The Vietnamese Government will make a financial contribution to the building of the one UN house in terms of offering land rental exemption for the first 11 years.

The Hanoi authorities have been requested to do whatever they can for the UN agencies’ upgrade and expansion work on the place in line with Vietnam’s laws.

The Foreign Ministry and other relevant ministries and agencies are asked to coordinate with the UN and assist in the work.
