Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said he hopes that the Public Health Ministries of Vietnam and Laos would promote cooperation and exchange of experience in hospital management, pharmaceutical production and personnel training.

The PM made the remark while receiving Lao Minister of Public Health Ponmek Daraloy in Hanoi on August 14.

PM Dung expressed his pleasure at the fine development of the Vietnam-Laos special friendship and cooperation, especially between the two Ministries of Public Health.

He said that the Vietnamese government will do its utmost to help promote the comprehensive cooperation between the two governments and peoples.
Minister Ponmek Daraloy informed PM Dung on the fruitful cooperation between the two ministries over the past five years. He also praised Vietnam for sending experts to help

Laos
in the training and development of human resources for the healthcare sector.
Minister Ponmek Daraloy said he hopes that Vietnam will help Laos build a Medical College in Vientiane and train officials and teachers for the college.
