On display are 200 photos portraying the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries over the past 60 years.

At the opening ceremony on January 11, the Vietnamese Ambassador to China, Nguyen Van Tho, described the exhibition as part of many activities being held to mark the anniversary and welcome in Vietnam-China Friendship Year 2010.

He expressed his thanks for the Chinese people’s assistance to Vietnam’s struggles for national independence and its current process of socialist construction.
