The photo contest had attracted more than 2,600 entries by nearly 370 amateur photographers from 44 provinces and cities across the country.

Among the 91 photos selected for research purposes, eleven were awarded. Tran Minh from Hanoi won first prize with the photo “Schooling in mountainous areas”.

The contest was organised by the Vietnam Photographic Artists Association to improve the public’s awareness of environmental protection and people’s living conditions.
