The sixth Pharma Indochina conference was held in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on December 16-17 with the participation of experts from Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea, France, the Netherlands, Vietnam and the World Health Organisation.

Forty-five reports on pharmaceutical management and processing, as well as other developments in the pharmaceutical sector during the global economic slowdown were presented.

Participants highly valued Vietnam’s two reports on preserving and developing sustainable pharmaceutical recourses in Vietnam and the world pharmaceutical industry in the first decade of the 21st century.

During the two day conference, an exhibition on pharmaceuticals and facilities was also held.

The first Pharma Indochina was held in 1994 as an initiative of the Hanoi Pharmaceutical University, the Ho Chi Minh City Medical and Pharmaceutical University and the Mahidol University of Thailand.
