Vietnamese pianist Trinh Thi Nhan gave a performance in Paris on March 6 to raise funds for Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO) victims.

The concert was one of many annual events organized by the French Committee for the Vietnam-Van Canh Friendship Village under the sponsorship of French Senate Chairman Christian Poncelet and Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Dinh Bin.

The opening speech was delivered by Paul Markides, who is Deputy President of the French Committee for the Vietnam-Van Canh Friendship Village and Deputy President of the Republic War Veterans' Association.

The man introduced Van Canh Village, located in Ha Tay province near Hanoi, and discussed activities to help over 200 AO victims from the village.

He called on the concert's audience to support Vietnamese AO victims, who are pursuing a lawsuit against US companies that produced the toxic chemical for US troops to spray over Vietnam during the war.
