OV conference 2016 ready for success
VOV.VN - This year conference gathering overseas Vietnamese under the theme “Overseas Vietnamese join hands for Ho Chi Minh City’s rapid and sustainable development and international integration” is to open on November 11 in the city.
Permanent Deputy Head of the city’s committee for overseas Vietnamese affairs, Tran Hoa Phuong said the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Foreign Ministry and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee have cooperated in the organization of the four-day event to ensure efficiency.
"We welcome overseas Vietnamese’s opinions and recommendations to ensure the city’s role as a spearhead municipality for rapid and sustainable development and international integration," he added.
As many as 500 delegates from 36 countries and territories are expected to join the event.
Nguyen Van Dung representing the Vietnamese businesses community in the US said,“This will be an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to meet as we all wish to return and invest in our homeland. We will discuss potential industries with advanced technology to promote economic growth.”
