A ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on August 16 to honour outstanding individuals and businesses in the medicine and pharmacy sector.
Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on August 13, Prof. Pham Song, Chairman of the Vietnam General Association of Medicine and Pharmacy (VGAMP) said that the ceremony, the first of its kind so far, will be broadcast live on VTV1.
The organising board will present two titles, “The Heart for Vietnamese People’s Health” to individuals who have made active contributions to public health protection and care and “The Business for Vietnamese People’s Health”, to outstanding enterprises in pharmaceutical production and business, he added.
At the press conference, the organising board said it has selected over 70 domestic businesses for the title.
A list of outstanding individuals to be selected by journalists at the press conference will be announced at the awards ceremony.VNA/VOVNews
