The organization aims to raise VND2.7 billion ($130,000) during its 27 working trips in Hanoi, HCMC, Nghe An, An Giang, Hue, Vinh Long and Can Tho to support the operations.

Last year, Operation Smile provided 2,670 free treatments and corrective facial surgeries for Vietnamese children with hare lip and cleft palate deformities, bringing the total number of patients treated to 18,735 since its first medical mission in Vietnam in 1989.
