One missing amid heavy rain in Quang Nam

VOV.VN - A man from Tam Ky city located in the central province of Quang Nam has been swept away by floodwater on the morning of December 9.

The man named as Ngo Binh, 64, residing in An My ward, was on Dien Bien Phu road when he fell into a pond area and was swept away by rapid floodwater at 9pm.

After receiving notification of the news, local authorities sent a rescue team to search for the victim.

Nguyen Hong Quang, Chairman of Tam Ky city’s People’s Committee, said the committee had instructed the rescue team to continue their search for the victim.
