Officials: 10 taken to hospitals after 2 charter buses collide

VOV.VN - Police officials reported 10 passengers were taken to hospitals with injuries after a crash on the Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway in the district of Thuong Tin in Hanoi involving two charter buses.

The officials told a VOV reporter that at around 6am on Tuesday, August 29, one of the buses was driving too fast for road conditions and rear-ended the one in front of it when it failed to stop after the lead bus slowed down.

Police reported that even though heavy rains contributed to the accident, the driver of the bus that hit the one in front of it will be charged with careless operation as it is his responsibility to maintain a safe distance regardless.
