Northern region set for cold spell and further downpours from October 21
VOV.VN - Northern localities are poised to face a new cold spell between October 21 and October 23, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
The cold weather is forecast to hit the region from the evening of October 20, thereby bringing with it rain and a drop in temperatures.
Hanoi is set to endure a long spell of rain, with temperatures falling below 17 degrees Celsius.
Similar weather conditions are expected to hit northcentral provinces, all of which are anticipated to endure a period of low temperatures and downpours.
As a result of this, local people will feel the cold at night and early in the morning, with the national weather forecast authority reminding residents to take proper measures to protect their health amid the increasingly cold air.
