The location was approximately 360km east-southeast of the northern coastal provinces of Quang Ninh and Hai Phong’s inland areas, with winds close to the centre reaching 75- 90 km per hour.
Moving at a speed of 15km per hour, the storm is expected to strike the northern waters of the Gulf of Tonkin by the evening and will gain more power.
