No Vietnamese citizens among victims of India terrorist attack
VOV.VN - There are no Vietnamese citizens among victims of a recent tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam of India’s Jammu and Kashmir state, reported the Vietnamese Embassy in India.

Militants opened fire on tourists and locals in Pahalgam on April 22, killing at least 26 civilians and injuring 20 others, said local media.
Initial information indicated that two of the victims were foreign tourists, but according to investigations by the consular section ò the embassy, they were not Vietnamese citizens.
Pahalgam is a popular destination in the scenic, mountainous region where mass tourism, especially during the summer, has resurged as Islamist militant violence has eased in recent years.
The Resistance Front, a shadow group of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group, claimed responsibility for the attack.
US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni were among world leaders who condemned the attack and expressed solidarity with India.
In his phone call to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Trump said the US stands with India in its fight against terrorism and stays ready to offer all possible support. Meanwhile, Putin also pledged continued cooperation with India in the global fight against terrorism.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described the terrorist attack as far more horrifying than any attack on civilians in recent years.
Local authorities said the number of casualties could rise.
