No one hurt when tourist bus catches fire in Vietnam
VOV.VN - The driver and three tourists are safe after their bus erupted in flames yesterday afternoon (Apr. 13) on Highway 1 in the north-central province of Nghe An bordering Laos.

The driver noticed the fire after hearing a loud pop at around 5:30pm. |

You hate to end a day like that, said the driver, but it turned out pretty well and I was able to safely evacuate all the passengers. |

Shortly after everyone was off the bus, it burst into flames. |

It took crews of three fire trucks about one hour to extinguish the blaze. |

High flames. Black smoke. It was like a skeleton of a bus once we got it stomped out, said a fireman at the scene. |

Local police are investigating the fire. |

The bus driver handled it really well, said police officials. As soon as he realized there was a problem, he got the passengers off right away. |
