Nine die, 16 injured in Ha Tinh sleeper bus crash
VOV.VN - Nine people died and 16 others were injured when a sleeper bus overturned after hitting roadside markers in central Ha Tinh province early on July 25.
The serious accident occurred at around 2 a.m. as the bus, carrying 28 passengers, lost control while traveling along National Highway 1 in Song Tri Ward.
Five victims died at the scene, while four others passed away in hospital. The vehicle was heavily damaged, with its front crushed, windows shattered, and bodywork deformed.
Upon receiving the report, local police arrived at the site to carry out rescue work, regulate traffic, and investigate the cause of the crash.
