These activities include a conference on the Party’s newspapers in central and highland provinces, with the theme “Local Party’s newspapers promote the campaign of following late president Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”, an art exhibition and a week long film festival on the late president.

The Provincial People’s Committee has worked with its Department of Culture to prepare for the national Sen Village Festival (the place where late president Ho Chi Minh was born). It will also hold a meeting to mark the 120^th anniversary of late president Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial People’s Committee, Ho Duc Phuoc, said that Nghe An is a province with age-old cultural and historical traditions and the province is very proud to be the birth place of late president Ho Chi Minh. The province is poised to preserve and develop its traditional values, and translate Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts into action.
