This year, Hanoi will enjoy seeing 15-minute fireworks at midnight for the first time in 29 locations. The main locations will be Hoan Kiem Lake, Ly Tu Trong flower garden, Thong Nhat Park, and Van Quan Lake. Other displays will take place in suburban districts.

Firework shows will also take place in other northern provinces, including Cao Bang (3 locations), Vinh Phuc (9 locations), Ha Giang (at square 26/3), Tuyen Quang (2 locations), Phu Tho (in the centre and Yen Lap and Phu Ninh districts), Dien Bien Phu (in Muong Nhe and Tuan Giao districts).

Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, and Hai Phong, each will have 2 firework displays near the city centre.

In the central region, Thua Thien-Hue province will have a firework show for the first time in A Luoi district. Da Nang City will have shows in 2 locations, as last year.

On Lunar New Year’s Eve, Ho Chi Minh City will have 7 special shows in Thu Thiem tunnel, Tan Binh industrial zone, Go Vap and Binh Phu parks and some other places.
