The central province of Thua Thien Hue inaugurated marker 666 at the A Dot-Ta Vang border gate, a major marker on the Vietnam-Laos border line, at a ceremony on May 18.

The marker is among 26 new border markers to be erected along the 26km common border between Thua Thien-Hue province and Sekong province.

Ho Xuan Man, provincial Party Committee’s Secretary thanked the Sekong authorities and people for their close cooperation in building the border marker.

On this occasion, Thua Thien-Hue transferred 42 houses and a school as gifts to Sekong province.
