This was the first ever international golf tournament for Vietnamese nationals in Europe and was intended to bring overseas Vietnamese people together and strengthen solidarity among the Vietnamese community in Europe.

The event attracted 50 Vietnamese golfers from Poland, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Ireland. They competed in 14 groups for the top three prizes.

The golf tournament is expected to become an annual event for the European Vietnamese community.
