Nearly 10,000 students, job seekers join Da Nang career fair
A job fair was held by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) of Da Nang University in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs of the central city of Da Nang on June 6, attracting nearly 10,000 students and job seekers.

The job fair featured 71 booths representing over 170 companies, of which 70 businesses conducted on-site interviews, while more than 100 submitted their job listings. They sought to recruit up to 8,200 labourers.
Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Home Affairs, stated that the job fair offered various forms of employment, including on-site applications and direct interviews. Panel discussions and thematic seminars on employment have been also arranged within the programme.
Huong hoped that the event will help job seekers access employment information and services, connect with businesses and potential employers, as well as receive career counseling to improve their job search skills.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Rector of the VKU, noted that this year’s event saw the participation of many international companies from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore. It also includes a series of 12 thematic seminars covering practical and timely topics such as career development, new technologies, digital transformation, and global integration.
Notably, a key seminar titled “Developing high-quality human resources in digital era and global integration” was also held, discussing measures to connect the state, academia, and businesses in jointly implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW and digital workforce development strategies of the country and Da Nang in particular.
