Mountain landslides causes congestion in Highway 12
(VOV) -Prolonged heavy flooding has caused mountain landslides at a long stretch of National Highway 12 linking the northern mountainous provinces of Dien Bien and Lai Chau.
The 1.2 km stretch was covered by over 33,000 cubic metres of rock and soil.
At present, Dien Bien provincial transport authorities asked relevant units to early resume normal traffic flow on the route.
