The project involves 50 motorbike taxi drivers, a number of schools and families.
The project focuses on disseminating information to raise the participants' awareness of measures to prevent accidents and injuries, building a network of those who can provide first aid for victims of accidents, helping ensure safety on streets, at schools and in families, and providing medical equipment to give better treatment to those injured.
The project trains teams of motorbike taxi drivers in the prevention of accidents and injuries, ensuring traffic safety and methods to give first aid to victims of accidents.
The project, which will be implemented through 2007, also plans to train lecturers and medical workers to disseminate information on accident prevention among teachers, taxi drivers and young volunteers.
