The number of Vietnamese trainees in Japan will rise considerably in the coming time following the renewal of an agreement on labour cooperation between the two countries.
The new agreement, signed by Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Chairman of the Association for International Manpower Development of Medium and Small Enterprises ( IMM Japan) Kyoei Yanagisawa, will replace the old one signed in October 2005.
Over the past four years, the agreement has sent 550 Vietnamese to IMM Japan’s member companies for training.
Japan is expected to receive 1,000 Vietnamese trainees in the next two years.
