During his visit, Mr Viet expressed his deep sympathy for losses suffered by Da Nang people and asked local authorities to continue helping typhoon victims quickly, stabilise their lives and resume production activities. He said that Da Nang should devise measures to prevent flash floods in the coming period.

Leaders of HCM City led by Pham Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of the HCM City People’s Council visited Quang Ngai province and offered VND500 million in support of typhoon victims, bringing HCM City’s total donation to more than VND1 billion.
