Over the past five years, nearly 17,000 households of different ethnic groups in the Central Highlands have been provided with land for agricultural production, meeting 80 percent of the plan.

Central Highland provinces have also built or repaired houses for 58,250 ethnic households (99.8 percent of designated beneficiaries) and built water supply systems for more than 30,300 households in far-flung hamlets and villages.

All this is the result of a government programme aimed at providing land to ethnic people to build houses and develop agricultural production (known as Programme 134). The programme has helped beneficiaries improve their physical and spiritual lives. Many ethnic households have become exemplary role models of efficient production.

Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces have completely met the goals of the programme.
