Mobile libraries for disadvantaged provinces
VOV.VN - Five disadvantaged provinces with great number of ethnic people on October 7 got library trucks from the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism handed under the “Multimedia Mobile Library” project.
In his speech, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien said the project is designed to bring information and knowledge to people living in remote and poor areas by encouraging reading culture and lifelong learning.
The “Multimedia Mobile Library” project launched by the Library Department of Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in late 2015, has received support from numerous donors, with Vingroup as the major sponsor.
Each mobile library has more than 3,000 books, 10 computers, projectors, digital documents, audio books and support devices for people with blindness.
