The Central Paediatrics Hospital on April 22 announced the Health Ministry’s decision to establish a children’s health institute in Hanoi.
The institute aims to meet three urgent needs regarding paediatric care: scientific research, personnel training and international cooperation.
Apart from child-related issues, the institute will focus on training paediatric tumour specialists and nurses.
Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the Central Paediatrics Hospital, has also been appointed as the institute’s head.
