Ministry proposes resuming inter-provincial transport services
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Transport has updated a draft plan allowing localities that have eased social distancing to resume inter-provincial transport services.
Under the updated plan, the ministry dropped a proposal that requires residents wishing to travel from one locality to another to be vaccinated or recover from COVID-19 or have a negative COVID-19 test.
Instead, travelers are only required to strictly comply with the 5K message and other COVID-19 regulations for road users set out by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The MoH’s 5K message stands for Khau trang (face mask), Khu khuan (disinfection), Khoang cach (distancing), Khong tu tap (no gatherings), and Khai bao y te (health declaration).
The Ministry of Transport is awaiting comments from the MoH for its draft plan.
The MoH has yet to issue travel guidelines for road users in the new normal.
The draft plan will not apply to localities that are implementing strict social distancing measures.
