Mr Anaya expressed his hope that the co-operative model will continue to develop, and expressed thanks for the active participation of Vietnamese doctors in Mexico, considering it a manifestation of friendship ties between the two countries.
He hoped there would be more acupuncture centres opened, especially for detoxification and treatment of disabled children, to mark 10 years of the project this year.
On the occasion, he sent best regards to the hospital leaders and professor Nguyen Tai Thu who laid the foundation for the acupuncture co-operation between Vietnam and Mexico.
Over the past 10 years, around 100 professors and doctors have been working for three Vietnamese acupuncture centres in Mexico.
