Medi-Pharm Expo 2015 kicks off in Hanoi
(VOV) - Opening day of the Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo, December 2-6, found more than 150 exhibitors from 16 countries displaying their wares at the Hanoi International Centre for Exhibition (ICE) at 91 Tran Hung Dao Street in the Hoan Kiem District.
“There are innumerable items on exhibit,” said Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long, everything from highly specialized drugs and medicines to cosmetics, medical equipment, clinical services, plus so much more.
In a speech at the opening, Deputy Minister Long said the event is particularly beneficial as it helps foreign exhibitors gain better insight into the nation’s medical and healthcare market and the need for technological advances.

An estimated 12,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s 22nd edition of the event.
The Phuc Anh Khang International Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City is a featured attraction at the fair showcasing advanced medical service packages and treatment methods.
Long said the exhibition is the result of collaboration with the Paul-Gerhard Diakonie International (PGDI) organization in Berlin, Germany to find treatments for fatal and dangerous diseases in Vietnam.
