On February 3, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) launched its e-portal at www.agroviet.gov.vn; www.mard.gov.vn; www.bonongnghiep.gov.vn.
The new portal will serve as a clearinghouse of information and public services from the ministry’s units.
In 2009, under the Danish Government’s auspices, the Information and Technology and Statistics Centre coordinated with CMC Software Solution Company to survey MARD’s websites in order to build a new e-portal based on Microsoft’s sharepoint software.
